Working Meeting of the CARE-GET Project Partners in Haskovo

On March 19, 2025, a working partners’ meeting of the CARE-GET project took place at Haskovo Municipality, with representatives of all project partners.

The meeting began at 2:00 PM with a presentation on expenditure reports, audit trails, and First Level Control procedures. Participants discussed transparency requirements and financial accountability within the project framework.

At 2:20 PM, the publicity and communication measures plan was presented, aiming to raise awareness of the project and its objectives. The presentation and the subsequent discussion were led by Ms. Radostina Medvedeva from Bulgarian Economic Forum, communication manager of CARE-GET.

Following this, at 2:40 PM, the readiness for drafting several strategic documents concerning economic development and the labour market in Haskovo Municipality was reviewed. Experts discussed key factors for sustainable economic growth in the region and how they should be incorporated into the relevant documents.

After a short coffee break from 3:00 to 3:15 PM, the meeting continued with a presentation on the role of the Innovation Expert in the project – Mr. Donal O’Herlihy. His main functions and expected impact on the development of project activities were outlined.

From 3:45 PM, a discussion took place, where participants exchanged opinions and ideas on key aspects of CARE-GET's implementation. The meeting concluded at 4:30 PM with a summary of achieved results and next steps for project implementation.
