The needs of the community in Haskovo in the field of digitalization of services discussed at the seminars of the SpinIT project

On November 19, 2024, the Haskovo Branch of Thrace University - Stara Zagora hosted the second series of workshops aimed at trainings for the digitization of activities and services, in line with the strategies for smart specialization (S3) and targeting the needs of the community and stakeholders in Haskovo.

During the workshop, the participants analyzed the ideas collected so far and familiarized themselves with different scenarios to identify the most suitable idea for a pilot activity. The implementation will occur within the SpinIT project, as part of the Interreg Danube Region Program 2021-2027, co-financed by the EU.

Participants discussed various measurable results, timelines, and stakeholder commitments in the second workshop. The discussion informed the creation of the basis for a local action plan. Once developed, the plan will present the priority ideas from the seminars of the mayor of Haskovo Municipality.

Bulgaria Economic Forum expresses its sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality and partnership of Prof. Dr. Tanya Pascaleva, director of the Haskovo branch of Thrace University.
